Chad Le Clos at CIFP Fair Play Booth in Buenos Aires

The International Fair Play Committee's booth had a prestigious visitor at the Buenos Aires 2018 Youth Olympic Games. The South African Chad Le Clos, Olympic and World Champion swimmer who serves as an Ambassador for the event promoted the values of sportsmanship among the young participants of the fair play games.

Chad who became Youth Olympic Champion in Singapore in 2010 when the YOG was launched and conquered the swimming world few years later winning gold medal at the London 2012 Olympics spoke about his experience of sportsmanship on the field.

"Fair play has always been important for me. Even if there is strong competition, I respect my opponents who are friends off the field. Also, I like to share the moments of victory with them."


Fair Play is the spirit of a champion.




The International Fair Play Committee teamed up with the Foundation for Global Sports Development to promote the values of sportsmanship among the young generations.
