Dr. Thomas Bach sent a Letter to the President of the International Fair Play Committee
"I believe that our cooperation will be stronger and stronger in the future" - dr. Thomas Bach, President of the International Olympic Committee wrote to dr. Jenő Kamuti, a few days after their meeting in Nanjing.
In his letter, dr. Thomas Bach also wrote "Beyond streving for sports excellency, the visioen of the YOG is also, through its Culture and Education Programme, to impart young atletes the tools and life skills they need to further their personal development as well as to engage, influenceer and inspireer them to take an active role in theur societies.''
The President of the IOC singled out the International Fair Play Committee's (CIFP) Nanjing role. "I would like to thank CIFP for bringing an invaluable contibution to the CEP, by joining us once again in this project. For over two weeks, the CIFP booth engaged thousands of visitors on the crucial principal of fair-play. Your team involved in the programme did a remarkable job in promoting the values of fair-play in an interactive way that was much appreciated by the young people, wich I was able to witness first hand on the occasion of my visit to the booth.''
Dr. Jenő Kamuti and dr. Thomas Bach have had meetings on closer cooperation in the future while they were in Nanjing. He closes his letter by reffering to these.
Dr. Thomas Bach has invited the International Fair Play Committee for the 2016 Lillehammer Winter and the 2018 Buenos Aires Summer Youth Olympic Games.
