EOC EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE MEETS IN BUDAPEST

Budapest, 26th April - the EOC Executive Committee convened in the Hungarian capital for their second meeting of the year, on occasion of the Association's 33rd Seminar. Chaired by President Patrick Hickey, the members took stock of the recent ANOC Moscow meetings and discussed various issues of current concern.

Hungarian NOC President Zoltan Bolkai welcomed his European guests and said how pleased the Hungarian sports movement was to be hosting such an important meeting in Budapest just a few months before London 2012, but also for the years to come with the candidature for the 2017 EYOFs.

The Budapest meeting took place just a few hours before the 33rd Seminar, the Association's most technical meeting, which will run through to Saturday.

The next EC meeting will take place in Andorra on the 29th of September, when the hosting NOC will be celebrating its 40th anniversary.
