Fair Play Medal presented at the European Swimming Championships in Debrecen, Hungary

President Jenő Kamuti along with LEN President Nory Kruchten presented a Fair Play Medal to Per Rune Eknes, President of the Norwegian Swimming Federation on May 22, 2012 at the 31st European Swimming Championships in Debrecen, Hungary. With this gesture the entire Norwegian National Team was recognized as the explanation describes "they compete full heartedly in the memory of their teammate and friend, who died suddenly". The Olympic silver medalist, World and European Champion Alexander Dale Oen passed away three weeks ago during a training camp in the US. He would have turned 27 years old during the European Championships in Debrecen.
