Commonwealth Games 2022 in Birmingham

The 2022 Commonwealth Games, officially known as the XXII Commonwealth Games and commonly known as Birmingham 2022, was an international multi-sport event for members of the Commonwealth of Nations that took place in Birmingham, England between 28 July and 8 August 2022.

The Games marked England's third time hosting the Commonwealth Games after London 1934 and Manchester 2002, and the 7th Games held in the United Kingdom, with previous events in Wales and Scotland: Cardiff 1958, Edinburgh 1970 and 1986 and Glasgow 2014.

Sunil Sabharwal, Secretary General of the International Fair Play Committee was invited by the CWG Federation and the Global E-sports Federation for the Games. Mr. Sabharwal spent several days in Birmingham and visited various competitions.

The appearance of CIFP is important at such multisport events and drawing attention to the values of Fair Play like friendship, solidarity and humanity.
