European Games 2023 Kraków-Małopolska
The 3rd European Games, informally known as Kraków-Małopolska 2023, was an international multi-sport event held from 21 June to 2 July 2023 in Kraków and Małopolska, Poland. All Olympic sports held at the European Games provided qualification opportunities for the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris, France.
President of the International Fair Play Committee /CIFP/, Dr. Jenő Kamuti participated at the EUG 2023, as well as, other representatives of CIFP. During EUG 2023, the European Fencing Confederation /EFC/ held its annual general assembly. The Fair Play President was also the former head of the EFC and is currently its Honorary President, so he watched primarily the fencing competitions in Krakow.
The event also provided the opportunity for many discussions with the international sport leaders. On the photo above CIFP delegates with Pierre Kass (l), Secretary General of European Table Tennis Union /ETTU/ and with his colleague (r2) in the table tennis venue.
CIFP was represented, in addition to the President, by Hanna Wawrowska and Bert Van de Flier, Council Members, and Gabor Deregan, Executive Director.
Thank you for invitation to the Polish Olympic Comittee, to the European Olympic Committee, to the European Fencing Confederation and EFC Secretary General, Jacek Slupski (on the cover photo on the right).
