Presidential meeting

Jenő Kamuti, CIFP President met with Thomas Bach, President of the International Olympic Committee, in Budapest. Mr. Bach visited the FINA World Championships 2022 in the capital of Hungary.

The two former fencers spoke about the Fair Play Awards Gala and General Assembly a few days earlier, which were missed in previous years because of the Covid. Current issues related to the international sport were also discussed at the meeting.

Both sports executives positively commented about the importance of Fair Play, especially nowadays. 

Finally declared, the cooperation between the two organizations is strong and they will count on each other in the future as well.
