World Fair Play Photography Contest Announced by Türkiye

The Second World Fair Play Photography Contest, which was organized for the first time in 2018 by the Turkish Fair Play Commission of the National Olympic Commiittee of Türkiye, was announced again.

The Executive Board of the Turkish Fair Play Commission gave the start of the 2nd World Fair Play Photography Contest.

At the press conference held at the Olympic House, Fair Play Commission President Erdoğan Arıpınar, 2nd President Prof. Dr. Bilge Donuk and Vice Presidents Remzi Yılmaz and Assoc. Dr. Sevim Güllü made statements about both the commission's activities in 2023 and the 2nd World Fair Play Photography Contest.TOC Fair Play Commission Vice President Remzi Yılmaz said that the 2nd World Fair Play Photography Contest was started.He gave information about the Photo Contest. Photographs that will participate in the competition in black and white or color.

Stating that there may be that all photographs can participate, until 10 December 2023 at the latest. He stated that it should be sent via e-mail to fairplay@olimpiyat.org.tr. of the competition. He stated that it is open to all amateur/professional photographers and that previously awarded and exhibited photographs cannot participate. The announcement was sent to the entire world sports organization, especially the IOC. 


• Photo shoot Date: January 01, 2020 (Photos taken from this date can participate.)

• Deadline for Participation: 10 December 2023

• Selection Committee Evaluation Date: 15 December 2023

• Results Notification Date: 19 December 2023

Award-winning works and their owners will be published on the TOC's website at www.olimpiyat.org.tr on 18 December 2023.

Works participating in the competition are not returned whether they receive a degree or not, all their rights are in Türkiye. The competitor accepts this when filling out and sending the participation form. 5 works to be selected by the Selection Committee will be selected as the first five degrees.


The awards to be given to the works that will be placed in the competition are as follows:

1. $2,000

2. $750

3. $500

4. $250

5. $250

and a Fair Play plaque and certificate of participation.

Certificates of participation and a letter of appreciation will be given to all the owners of the works who cannot enter these degrees.

A maximum of 50 works liked and selected by the selection committee, TMOK 2nd World Fair Play Photography Contest. It will take place in the Contest Album and the Exhibition together with the works that will receive the first 5 degrees.
