YOG Village officially opened
INNSBRUCK, January 8, 2012 - Yesterday saw the official opening of the Youth Olympic Village in Innsbruck's General-Eccher-Straße.
The ceremony was carried out at 10:00 by Provincial Vice-Governor Hannes Gschwentner, CEO of the construction company 'Neue Heimat Tirol' Klaus Lugger and Innsbruck 2012 CEO Peter Bayer. The complex will be home to 1700 athletes and team officials from 70 countries during the 1st Winter Youth Olympic Games.

FIS launches its 'Say NO! To Doping campaign: Clean as Snow' in Alpine Skiing
OBRHOFEN, December 22, 2011 - FIS's Anti-Doping campaign; "Skiers andSnowboarders Say NO! to Doping - Clean as Snow" was officially launched inin Alpine Skiing in Flachau (AUT) this week. The launch in the Nordicdisciplines already took place at the Nordic Opening in Ruka, Kuusamo(FIN) at the end of November.
Youth Olympic flame lights up for Innsbruck 2012
LAUSANNE, December 17,2011 - The flame for the first Winter Youth Olympic Games in Innsbruck, Austria, was lit today in Athens, marking the first time in modern Olympic history the flame has been lit for three Olympic events taking place in the same city.
