YOUTH TEAMS SET OFF FOR 2011 TRABZON EYOF – ENJOY THE FESTIVAL

Trabzon, July 22 - The 49 teams of young athletes from all over Europe are about to head for Trabzon. After months of preparations, the 3,300 youngsters will travel to the town on the Black Sea where everything is ready and where they will live an unforgettable experience, from 24 to 29 July.

In recent weeks, the National Olympic Committees of our continent have organized a large number of presentation ceremonies for these young athletes, whom they have prepared to the best for this festival of sport and culture.

The Austrian NOC in particular honoured its 54 young athletes during the Kick-off Ceremony, which this year is of special significance as the NOC will in effect organize the 2015 winter EYOF in conjunction with the NOC of Liechtenstein.
