CIFP 50th anniversary

On the 18th of September 2013 CIFP celebrated its 50th anniversary at the UNESCO Palace in Paris, where a ceremony was held which included the awarding of 2012 Fair Play prize. Almost 300 people attended the ceremony, including the representatives of WADA, delegates os UNESCO and the representatives of international sports world.

The lecturers were Bogyay Katalin (President of UNESCO's general assembly), Engida Gethachew (Deputy Director-General of UNESCO), dr Kamuti Jenő (president od CIFP). They praised the successful operation of the past 50 years.

They Everyone agreed that the Fair Play idea should be preserved as is necessary and essential for both the sport at all society. Participants at the ceremony are all ambassadors of the Fair Play idea around the world. Accepted and supported Dr. Kamuti Jenő's proposal that UNESCO to select a day of the year as a Fair Play day. The ceremony was followed by the closing gala dinner.
