Fair Play Pavilion Set Up

1st Ever Youth Olympics About To Start

After the very successful Youth Olympic Summer Games in Singapore two years ago the International Fair Play Committee was invited by the IOC to contribute to the Culture and Education Programme (CEP) of the first ever Winter Youth Olympic Games in Innsbruck as well.

CIFP developed computer and board games and prepared workshop sessions which aim to educate young people on the values of fair play and how these can be applicable in their own lives.

The Winter YOG will officially be opened on 13 January, but the participants of the CEP, six international organisations (CIFP, IOA, UNEP, UNICEF, IFRC, WADA) are already on board. The Fair Play Pavilion has been set up and has started to operate at Congress Innsbruck which is the centre of various interactive activities specifically created for the young athletes one day before the event starts.

1000 athletes and many more officials, sports fans, media representatives are expected to visit and get involved in the CEP games including fair play activities too.

Everyone wins with fair play!
