First ever meeting of 4 IOC Recognized Organizations in Paris
Four IOC Recognized Organizations, the International Fair Play Committee (CIFP), the International Pierre de Coubertin Committee (CIPC), the International Society of Olympic Historians (ISOH) and Panathlon International (PI) held a collaborative meeting in Paris during the Olympic Games.
At the event, all 4 organizations presented themselves separately, and then the participants discussed the possibility of a common future. The International Fair Play Committee was introduced by Sunil Sabharwal, Secretary General, after the welcoming speech of President Jenő Kamuti. The CIFP Council was also present at the program, as well as, Angelita Teo, Director of Olympic Foundation for Culture and Heritage, and Maria Bogner, Head of the Olympic Studies Centre from IOC.
The new film of CIFPabout Fair Play was screened to the audience. A new translation of Pierre de Coubertin’s Writings into Arabic has been presented at the end of the event.
