Honorary President Jenő Kamuti was awarded a state award

The Commander's Cross of the Hungarian Order of Merit was awarded to Dr. Jenő Kamuti, Honorary President of CIFP, by the President of the Republic of Hungary, Tamás Sulyok.

According to the praising, Dr. Jenő Kamuti, Athlete of the Nation, two-times Olympic silver medalist, World and National champion fencer, President of the Budapest Union of Sports Associations, vice-president of the Hungarian Fencing Federation, former President and current Honorary President of the International Fair Play Committee, retired hospital director and chief physician, received the award in recognition of his versatile and successful sportsmanship, sports diplomacy and leadership activities that enrich international and national sports life, as well as his highly professional healing work on August 20, the day of the founding of the state.

The award was presented by the Hungarian Minister of Defense, Kristóf Szalay-Bobrovniczky.
