Meetings on the occasion of the Olympic Qualifier Series

Jenő Kamuti, President of the International Fair Play Committee met and held a discussion with Thomas Bach, President of the International Olympic Committee on the occasion of the Olympic Qualifier Series in Budapest. 

During the meeting in a friendly tone, the two sports leaders recalled some of the common points of their active careers, such as the Olympics in Montreal, where they both
participated. Moving on to more serious topics, the parties discussed the current issues of the international sports life, focusing already on Paris. Both sports leaders are confident that we are facing a peaceful and memorable Olympics. They agreed, fair play is one of the most important basic values of the Olympics, "without fair play there is no sport". Gábor Deregán, Executive Director of the International Fair Play Committee, was also present at the meeting.

Ministerial meeting. The members of the International Olympic Committee and the distinguished guests of the Budapest OQS, the Olympic Qualification Series met with Péter Szijjártó, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary. Sunil Sabharwal, Secretary General of the International Fair Play Committee represented CIFP at the meeting.
