EUG 2022 with Fair Play presence
European Universities Games 2022 /EUG2022/ is organized between July 17-30 in Lodz, Poland, with 6 000 athletes from 40 countries. CIFP also presented at the event organized by EUSA to strengthen the appearance of Fair Play.
Thanks to the honorable invitation of EUSA and President Adam Roczek, the representatives of the International Fair Play Committee visited the first days, including the Opening Ceremony, of the sixth edition of the European Universities Games. Promoting Fair Play values is particularly important among young athletes. It is also treated as a priority by university sports organizations, both at the international and continental level, for which CIFP is very grateful. EUSA published a Fair Play call and informed all technical delegates to submit the Fair Play acts they see in the venues. Tha Award will be presented at the EUSA General Assembly later.
Two CIFP council members, Leonz Eder, Acting President of FISU, and Hanna Wawrowska, Chair of the Polish Olympic Committee Fair Play Club, were present in Lodz, in different positions, as well as, Kole Gjeloshaj, advisor of the President, and Gabor Deregan, Head of the Presidential Office - on the cover photo with Adam Roczek, President of EUSA, (L2) and Charles Camenzuli, President of AIPS Europe (R1).
