Fair Play Beijing - Become a Fair Play reporter!

Do you know, the first International Fair Play Awardee was Eugenio Monti, an Italian bobsleigh athlete in 1964 and we presented the first Olympic Fair Play Award in collaboration with IOC in Beijing 2008? We have awarded many winter sport athletes, watch another nice examples here!

Eugenio Monti during the 2-man bobsled final event at the Innsbruck Winter Games 1964 had an excellent timing. Only the British Tony Nash and his partner could have defeated him. But, the moment he knew that Nash had broken a part of his bobsled, Monti detached the same part from his own sledand delivered it to Nash, who then obtained a record time, winning the gold medal.
