The International Fair Play Committee held its World Fair Play Awards gala, after two years missed due to covid, last weekend in Budapest. The event was the feast of Fair Play.

     The Belgian presidency of the EFPM was inaugurated, on June the 1st 2022, in the hemicycle of the Wallonia-Brussels Federation’s Parliament, a highly symbolic venue in terms of democracy and values. A Joyous Entry placed under the high patronage of their Majesties the King and Queen of Begium.

Normandy hosted the 19th Gymnasiade in mid-May. Under the auspices of ISF, which is one of the cooperative partners of CIFP, student athletes aged 16-18 competed in 20 sports. Some 3700 competitors from 69 countries competed in the eight-day competition.

At the start of the Giro d’Italia in Budapest, French cyclist Romain Bardet received the Fair Play Award from Dr. Jenő Kamuti, President of the International Fair Play Committee.
