President's presentation at Olympism 365 Summit in Lausanne
Sunil Sabharwal, President of the International Fair Play Committee, gave a pitch presentation in Lausanne at the Olympism 365 Summit. IOC has hosted the first Olympism365 Summit: Sport for a better World 3-5 June in Lausanne.
CIFP, as a Recognized Organization, was invited to the event, where the President represented the organization.
In his presentation, the President emphasized that all values of Fair Play contribute to a better world, that is why it is a pleasure to be able to take the stage at this very important event.
Sunil Sabharwal seized the opportunity and met with many IOC and international sports leaders in Lausanne. He had a meeting, among others, with Angelita Teo, IOC Director, Christophe de Kepper, IOC General Director, Kaveh Mehrabi, IOC Director, Maria Bogner, Head of the Olympic Studies Center, and IOC and IOC Commission members.
The Olympism365 Summit brought together over 250 representatives from 100 organisations across the Olympic Movement, United Nations agencies, development and financing institutions, civil society, for-purpose business, safe sport community and IOC Young Leaders, working together to advance the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through sport. It provided a unique platform to enhance collaboration, mobilise co-investment and launch joint action, culminating in further collective commitments and concrete action to advance sustainable development through sport.
