Turkey Fair Play Awards Presented

Turkish National Olympic Committee President Ahmet Gülüm emphasized the importance of highlighting the clean and inspiring face of sport, stating that Fair Play represents a valuable heritage built over 44 years. He underlined TMOK’s responsibility to make the dignified, unifying, and ethical values of sport more visible to society.

Erdoğan Aripınar, President of the Turkish Fair Play Commission, also addressed the audience and highlighted that the Turkey Fair Play Awards not only honor sporting achievements but also recognize individuals and institutions that make Fair Play a way of life. He underlined that respect, integrity, and responsibility are fundamental values of Fair Play and play a key role in strengthening the educational and social mission of sport, especially among younger generations.

A total of 22 individuals and organizations received Fair Play awards. Prominent awardees included Yusuf Dikeç, Daniele Santarelli, Umut Ünlü, Alperen Şengün, and Toprak Razgatlıoğlu. The Sportive Fair Play Promotion Grand Prize was awarded to Olympic silver medalist Yusuf Dikeç, while Paralympic champion Umut Ünlü received the Career Branch Grand Prize.
