Special Fair Play Trophy at the Pan-American Games

Jeno Kamuti, President of the International Fair Play Committee presented Antonio Leal, Venezuelan fencer, with Fair Play award for his outstanding behavior during the Pan-American Games.
During the men's foil semi-finals the score was 14-14. Antonio Leal indicated to the referee that his opponent had win the point. As a result, his opponent made it to the final and Leal finished the Games placed 3rd.
