The International Fair Play Committee's mission is to draw the attention of the world to the outstanding examples of fair play attitude and good sportsmanship in sports.
President Jenő Kamuti received recognition from the Turkish Olympic Committee
Almost five decades after winning the UNESCO-Award for his sport career in fencing, Olympic silver medallic fencer dr. Jenő Kamuti, President of CIFP and Sportsman of the Hungarian Nation, has been honoured as a leader for his work in promoting Fair Play.
Gidey wins International Athletics Fair Play Award
Ethiopia’s world 10,000m silver medallist Letesenbet Gidey has been named winner of the International Fair Play Award as part of the World Athletics Awards 2023. Following nominations from fans, members of the International Fair Play Committee (CIFP) and World Athletics formed a jury to decide on a shortlist of fair play moments.
Council Meeting of the International Fair Play Committee
The International Fair Play Committee held the second Council Meeting of this year on 21 October 2023. The meeting took place before the World Fair Play Award gala ceremony in Budapest.
